Big prob with zen

hey i know this sounds like a stupid thing to say but...

There might be a reset button on the side just push that in with a pen/pencil for about 5 seconds try turning it on. if its the creative zen x-fi it will be a little grey button and it may say RESET next to it in little white writing.

if it doesn't work then let me know,

thanks.

Going back to the menu

The button that looks like a curved arrow will let you go to a previous menu screen - see your user's manual for details.

Stuck on connected screen after being unplugged

I just had this problem, the way to fix it is to hold down menu and the center button until the screen goes grey with an apple logo on it. Wait for a minute, and it should go back to the main menu screen.

Gray Screen

I had a very similar problem where my Sansa would turn on show the initial logo then fade to a white/grey screen and restart. To fix it started in recovery mode (Start in hold mode with rec button held down) then used the firmware updater to update the software and it seems to had fixed the problem hope this also works for you

My menu screen won't show...

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
