Question about T-Mobile Wing™ Smartphone
I called T Mobile to report a crack of my T- Mobile wing. but the rep said that the manufacturer don't have any data that the screen breaks.this is because they don't want to replace their cheap product. I have to pay $175 for the part.
If you're not confident in your ability to tear apart and re-assemble small electronics (or you just don't have the time), you might want to consider hiring a professional service to do the repair. I actually run a small company called Jet City Devices that does a full screen replacement for the T-Mobile Wing. It's a mail in service that is significantly less expensive than buying a new phone and the entire process takes less than a week.
Just another option for people that might not feel comfortable doing their own repair.

I have had my Wing for about 3 months. I have dropped this thing multiple times... even on concrete which knocked the cover off and the battery out of it and it hardly even got a mark on it. No problems with mine. I dropped it HARD a few times.

I've had my wing since august and when i went to turn on my phone from standby, nothing happened except the back light lit up and so did the buttons. i talked to a tmobile rep and he said try taking the battery out and putting it back in which then killed the phone completely. tmobile said they have no problem sending me a replacement free of charge though.

Wow i had mine for a year and it shattered now the screen doesnt even turn on.. its stupid i think the wings a scandal cause now rare occasions it turns on yet no color at all.

Me too, i live in nyc and still no problem..if you keep it in the case, there shouldnt be an issue.
but yesterday my screen turned white
its not that the screen broke cause when you switch it from portrait to landscape the lower and uper half shows correctly..
soo whats wrong and how do i fix it
i took the battery out and all..

Sorry All, I have had my Wing for 7 months now and never cracked or scratched the screen. I live in NYC so im always walking around in hot and cold so its not any weather condition as someone suggested, i take care of it keep it in the case when im not using it. Ive also never dropped it - yet!!!
