Re: make noise like when some aluminium is inside.
The noise is coming from the high-voltage transformer being overloaded
by something shorting it out. Either the magnatron or the
high-voltage capacitor and diode. Replace the capacitor and
diode then if still not working, replace the magnatron. Its only
affordable if you do it yourself - buy the part on EBAY - lookup
Hope ya fix it!

When unplugging it for half a minute or so (this should reset all settings) won't help, it must be defect. When you are convinced you did press the right buttons and you are in the correct program you don't need to unplug. But for that you have to be sure it is not switched to oven. In 30 seconds it won't be warm enough to heat your coffee
I would try troubleshooting the "defrost circuit". The behavior sounds like the microwave is cooking in the defrost mode, where it actively cooks then stops allowing the food to rotate and the heat to spread then actively cooking again.
Hi.You may try thiis steps. took the reservoir off, siphon water from a hose, blow it off Maybe that is what has happened in all of
these instances and getting the air bubble out gives us a full cup of coffee.Hope this helps.
There is a main switch on the lower left side, as well as a standby switch on the front. Make sure the main switch is on, and the press the power button on the front. It will warm up & be ready to make a cup of coffee (about 30 sec.) when you select one of the coffee (cup) buttons.
It is your cup. The handle density or moisture content of the handle is causing the mwave to heat it. The rest of the cup contains a liquid (coffee?) that is absorbing any heat generated in the body of the cup. Use a different cup!
