My dewalt 077kd laser level will not turn on. It was working fine without any problems for a couple of years. We tried to turn it on with a fresh 18V battery and nothing happens. I seperated the upper and lower housings and there is no moisture or apparent damage. What might be the problem?

SOURCE: My Dewalt radio won't work.

Sounds like you have a more serious problem than the fuse.

Contact DeWalt for a warranty replacement.

Cant seem to get 1 st gear on my dewalt dcd960

Other then it being something simple such as the actual shifter itself, the gearbox on those is somewhat complicated. Quite a few parts and you really have to disassemble and inspect everything. Not easy to do so you may not want to try and repair it yourself. Here is the parts diagram so you can see what's in there.

I need to find out where to buy the power terminal fo a 18v dewalt battery

I've been working on cordless tools of many brands for years and there are no individual parts available for batteries from any manufacturer nor any aftermarket parts retailers that I have ever found. Usually if you need these types of parts you have to scavenge them from other batteries.

String will not feed for BD grasshop Gh600 type 2

Have a problem with your B&D GH600 trimmer? Replace part LEVER, Item #29, Part #598435-00 for about $3.00 (B&D or Dewalt). Just pull old level straight out with pliers (ends expand to hold it in place) and push replacement in. No other parts.

I have a DCD940KX 18v Dewalt drill driver with the one click drill chuck. It does not keep drill bits or screwdriver bits from spinning. They spin with the slightest bit of pressure on them. My questions...

this is not a common problem with dewalt. I have been using them in my construction business for years and only heard of this once or twice. I would go to their web site and get the number for their customer service. They stand behind their products and im sure they will help in every way they can to repair the drill
