I have a stilletto 2 - One day when I went to my car, the white box is on - I cannot turn on or off, either while plugged in or not. Also taking the battery out does not solve the problem.

Mine doing the same. I have taken out battery and re-inserted and tried without battery and plugged into wall. Same white square? Any solutions?

I ran the stiletto device recovery program and it works again. You can find it on the Sirius website by searching for "stiletto device recovery". However, it does delete all of the content that you have saved on the stiletto.

Actually, the only thing that helped was installing the update from sirius. removing the battery didn't work, but thanks!

This could be a few different issues, have you gotten it diagnosed? Give White Box Service a chance, your Touch may not fall under the digitizer replacement sale but all repairs are less than have the cost of buying a new unit.

Synchronize

Plug in player, which computer will then recognize.
Open WMP10 and then click the SYNC tab.
Click RECENTLY ADDED along the left column - your desired book(s) should be among those items to appear.
Upper right, in the small, square box for devices, your player should appear as the transfer location.
Now, physically drag the book(s) across to the right, and drop the item(s) along the right where it says "drag items here" [vertical rectangular box].
Click START SYNC at the bottom of that very box to send all of those books to the player.
When WMP says 100% complete you should have your playable (items)!

It will not turn on any longer

the problem lies within the mp3 all you got to do is fisrt.becarefull and take it apart once you have the other layer taken off then take the back off then at te top where the power button was there should be a lil square take something small and push in the lil square and it should come on the reason it wont cut on any more is due to the power button. the lil hole at the end of it is missing the part that normally pushes inside the square button is missing you will have to figure something from there to turn it on.i had to rig mines and your welcome.for further information you can call me at 771-3337

I have a Pyrod 4GB mp3 player which shows 'System Error' on the screen when turned on. I have had no problems with this in the past until tonight. When turned on the screen initially displays GD4 and then...

hey guys. well my g/f has same problem.. take out the screws on the left and bottom right and both on top. be careful though. Now once you have opened it you should see a white square box with something like seagate 4GB on it, with the head fone jack facing towards you gently pull down this white box till it comes off. then gently put it back on. this is called the hard drive that stores all your music on it ect. its worked for mine..

i also had to resolder a new head fone jack on it because the solder joints broke..

hope it helps thanks =]

How do I enable the Picture thumbnails on the 605?

I had the same problem this morning - the same grey boxes until you open the individual photos (all this within 24hrs out of the box) but it has now gone away now that i have recharged the unit. I presume it is a power saving function - makes sense really. Just a shame there was nothing in the manual to warn you of this feature.

Hope that helps.
