Stop transfering voice from Sony Ericson P910i and Garmin Nuvi 660

After normal using Handsfree phoning with Sony Ericson P910i via Garmin Nuvi 660 for few days there was no more voice transferring to the Nuvi 660. I turned off Nuvi 660 and telephone. Handsfree phoning works again for next few days and then all story repeats...

Had nokea 6230i & kept dropping voice tansfer, retail store suggest update phone and/or sim. further problems with texts, lots of mumbo jumbo greek letters &' listen' option wont work anymore.

yea, i've got the same thing on my cingualr 8125. it worked for weeks and then nada (you know what nada means right?) I've turn it off and on several times to no avail.

My W910 was working perfecly with the Nuvi, but suddenly it sttoped working. It is pairing properly, sicronizing the phonebook and all but no sound comming in or out from the nuvi as a Handsfree device. Please if any body knows how to solve it, help me,

Can you update the firmware on your unit
my k800i sony phone had a problem synchronising and would freeze, then one day the nuvi 660 updated the firmware by itself and has been fine since, only problem being the volume, a bit low when trying to contest with large diesel engine, onboard speaker keen to distort over 80% volume

Cannot communicate with phone option. I cannot hear the voice from the other person through the headset but they can hear me when i talk

Hello,

When using the GPS as a handsfree you shouldnt have a headset connected aswell, check that your phone is synced with the GPS and that the volume levels for phone are set to a reasonable level.

Garmin 765T No sound for bluetooth phone

If you press the phone icon on the gps immediately after dialing or when a call comes in, and bring up the phone options screen, you can then transfer voice to the phone, then immediately re-transfer the voice back to the device.
The voice will come alive. It's hokey and cumbersome, but it works.

No sound from Garmin nuvi 760 by any method

Sounds like your speaker went south. Since your fm transmitter is working I'll be your earphone jack is too. So you could always use an earphone. Only other option is a speaker replacement.

Nuvi 660 Volume

i had the same problem with my unit. I went back to The Source and they told me it was normal. I had a garmin streetpilot before the nuvi and the sound was much better.
The streetpilot has 2 speakers and the nuvi only has one. I had another problem with my nuvi and I exchanged it for another one and the volume problem is gone.
Use the male voices over the womans they seem to be recorded louder.

Caller gets echo of own voice wnen using bluetooth

Because this GPS was manufactured really bad is why that happens.
Before its too late I'd get a refund right NOW!
You are 1 of 5 other 660 GPS problems.
The only GPS problems are the same 660s

Garmin Nuvi 660

When you connect your Garmin to your PC (using the USB lead)you should see the Garmin as a removable drive. Just use the file manager (Windows Explorer) to transfer the mp3 files from your pc to your Garmin MP3 directory.

Voice not working properly on garmin nuvi 660 - very disdorted

i have been told that voice to street is not as clear as the voice just stating turns. If it really bothers you then try voice to turn. I cant remember the setting but it should work well for you.

Hard wiring the Nuvi 660

Make sure you use the proper kit for hardwiring. The Garmin DC adapter setp down the voltage from 12vdc to 5vdc. If you don't get the right kit you could fried your unit.
