CPU pins at 100% upon connecting

The install was fine when but I connect to another computer for a video call, my CPU pins at 100% and my voice isn't heard well, if at all, on the other side. I can see their picture and hear their voice pretty well, but it seems my system is having trouble once the program connects. My system specs are well above the recommended specs to run the camera.

Any help would be appreciated.
