I get a load paper message when paper is loaded

I have faxes in memory and it keeps telling me to load paper and push start. I have loaded and unloaded the paper several times but the machine does not recognize it. This machine is less than 6 months old.

Probaply some paper or obstackles stuck at PE (paper empty sensor) and that could be hard to fix it cuz you may need to pull apart the printer. However, if it is 6 monthsold, warranty covers this problem.

Our fax machine is sending faxes fine, but will not print in coming faxes. It keeps asking for paper (which is in the fax machine), then it sounds like it's working, then stops. We turned it off to see...

The paper isn't properly loaded. remove the paper then there should be a lever near the paper loading section that you push or pull to let the paper enter the feeding area. put in paper and return the lever to the proper position. check your owners manual. to get a manual try www.sharpusa.com .
