Question about Sceptre X37sv-Naga 37 in. LCD Television
Reply to scb8g from Frank Reed. The only real solution that I would suggest is for Sceptre to recall the power supply and repair/replace them with correctly sized thermistors. I don't there's much of a chance of the TV catching fire because the pcb-thermistor connection opens when overheating occurs so at best, the problem will continue to occur periodically and at worst, there would be a remote chance of a fire. Neither choices are good. I'll write Consumer's Reports this week and refer them to this site. Perhaps they can lean on Sceptre hard enough to get some action from them. Good luck, Frank Reed
