Question about Frigidaire FGF378AC Gas Kitchen Range
I have narrowed the problem down. Doing some research i learned that the gas to the oven starts when the electonic starter heats up to a certain temp which allows the gas to burn. The problem with my oven is that the electronic starter is not heating up. How do i check and see if it is the wiring or the starter itself? What would cause this problem and how much would it be for a new electronic starter which i think i will have to buy?
Thanks in advance
Yes, it is the ignitor the glow part nest to the oven burner needs to be replace, if you see that it comes on but the oven gas does not, it tells you that everything in the sisteme is good. or even if you donot see it wlighting change it any way, thats the problem. price is not more then $40.00 dollars.

Tips for a great answer:
Hey friend, thank you for your post!
I see your oven lock light is flashing and the oven is not working on your Frigidaire range. Are you able to provide model number, with that information I can research any additional information for your range. You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) behind the bottom drawer of your range. Thank you for the post and I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

Good Afternoon Gwen - Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If issue persists, then the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with a wiring failure, EOC (electronic oven control), sensor probe and/or faulty bake or broil element. I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause.
