What is the best way to resolve the freezing issues using a P4S8X-X motherboard?

There are many possible causes and solutions for your mobo problem. try these options one by one:

1. check your installed system memory. if you have two(2) modules, try removing one and leave the other one on and turn the power back "on". and vice versa. check which one works without freezing your system. remove power plugs before doing this.

2. if you only have one(1) memory module, try removing it after shutdown and unplugging the power cord and transfer the module to another slot. then power your system "on". if this doesn't work, try to slightly sandpaper the terminals of your memory module(s), just the terminals. then clean it with a new/clean small paintbrush and install it back on. power on your computer.

3. check the memory clocks of your installed memory modules. it should be of the same frequency. memory capacity (mb); it doesn't matter if one is higher than the other as long as the clocks are the same.

4. if all these options that i mentioned/stated above doesn't work. try replacing your memory module.
