Samsung Star S5233A has very dark photos

this phone doesn't support flash, so it is obvious that pictures won't come good in the dark. but it is good enough in day light.

Unable to see the pictures because screen is dark ( Kodak C713)

Sounds like a back lighting issue if it worth it to you, you can have it serviced. You can also purchase a camera that for less then you paid for that one and it will be better and new with a warranty.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Lee

when using any digital camera, you need to do a soft press on the shutter button to capture better pics... when pressing down hard, the images tend to be less than desirable

Pictures are black

My 4300 works fine until this week. No picture display on the LCD screen. Settings like date, exposure, etc.. are fine on the LCD screen. Able to get into setup mode and the colour menu selection box is fine. This shows that the LCD screen is working fine. Prior to this happening, I notice that when I took pictures in zoom mode, the picture turn out to be orange. I suspect this is caused by electronic failure. Light entering the lens cannot be transmitted to the LCD screen. Some photoelectronic stuff had reached its MTBF (mean time between failure)? Is there a way to save this camera?

Capturing mode

Probably you are using the M mode or manual mode for taking the pictures. this shouldn't happen in Auto mode. The exposure time is set to maximum and the camera behaves as it shoot during the completely dark environment - trying to stay "open" to absorb as much light as it needed for the picture. If you are trying it during the night you will be more satisfied with the result - 30 seconds of "capturing" on the screen, a tripod and you are goimg to have exellent night shot. I had the same problem, just because I haven'got read the manual for the camera first. My advise is to check in the manual what is written for the "M" mode. Hope that I help.

Olympus camedia c-370 ( no picture Seen& no capture )

Rqj This seems the fall your camera had broke something - the screen.
It will cost much to repair.
If the camera works OK then live with the the screen
Otherwise the best advice is to but a new camera.

Dark pictures

Be sure that you are capturing images in the right shooting mode. For example, if shooting a night scene your image will be underexposed and dark if the image is captured in the Program Auto mode for regular photography, or in any mode other than Night Scene. Be careful that when capturing images, nothing is obstructing the flash.
