Is it set for XM / Sirius? If so, you need their special antennae unit; or are you talking AM & FM?

My Yamaha RX-V757 Receiver wont turn on at all, everthing has gone blank??? Help

There are internal fuses in this unit.
Check these fuses first.
If you find a fuse that measures open, and the glass isn't black or black/silver then simply replacing the fuse may do the trick.
Make sure you get an EXACT match for the fuses, some are slo-blow because of the power on surge it has to allow.

I am trying to turn on my sirius radio (it has been working for 1 year) and all of a sudden it says 'check sr tuner'. Everything seems to be plugged in right yet it still won't turn on. Any ideas?

Page 62: If "CHECK SR TUNER" or "ANTENNA ERROR" appears in
the front panel display, the connection of the SiriusConnect
tuner or antenna is incorrect. In such cases, check the
connection of the SiriusConnect tuner and the antenna (see
page 115).
• If "NOT SUPPORTED" appears in the front panel display, this
unit does not support the connected SiriusConnect tuner.
----

Or the SR Tuner is fluky. Refer to its manual and start over with IT as the product, not the Yamaha.

Yamaha RX-V757 No Left Channel Output - Video Sources Only

First - make sure it is not a defective cable by reversing the leads/colors on the inputs if problem then goes to the right channel then you know it is a bad cable/RCA, etc., connector. I would try that first.

Thanks,

dthomas
