It frezzes in my games it frezzes in the opening ds thing and some time when i turn it on the thing dosent come on even after i charged it

This problem generally occurs if the ds card or sd memory card corrupted.

try to turn it on without ds card ...
maybe you need to reformat the sd card, do not forget to make backups first.

How long should my battery last? I bought an nintendo DS lite and I forgot to ask?

Hello there, the Nintendo DS Lite has four levels of brightness. The battery will last 15-19 hours on the lowest settings, and 5-8 hours on the brightest. This can also vary depending on the type of game activity."
So the DS should last the whole time in even on the highest brightness settings, if fully charged. Nintendo states that it takes 3 hours to fully charge the DS.

hope this helped, also this site will also help you to get your ds battery to last for longer

Nintendo DS Lite - does not charge

i would suggest trying to find what the issue is, if you know anyone who has a different charger, try it on your daughter's ds. if it still doesn't work, it's a DS problem...if it's under warranty, go to whatever store you bought it at and have them fix or replace it. If you try the different charger and it DOES work, then the only problem is the charger...so then all you have to do is go buy a new charger...hope this helps.

Nintendo DS will NOT charge

My guess is that the problem resides in the charger. You can buy a dual use charger for the DS and DS Lite at GameStop for relatively cheap.

Erratic power on and off

sometimes the connector can break loose from the board, there is very little solder holding them on and this would cause erratic behavior, everything is so small that the slightest improper connection causes big problems.
lets get you fixed up.

Nintendo ds lite

Maby you should try cleaning the game befor you put it in or maby you are putting it in the wrong way or too roughly or something. If my advice dosn't work you could go and get it repaired.

GOOD LUCK ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Charging

If you can't charge it at all, I suggest getting a new battery. It might be faulty. If that doesn't work, complain to Nintendo and get a refund / new console.

System Settings are not stored

Unfortunutly there is not another battery in the unit. Its probably the main chip has gotten shook a little loose so that it can not correctly store the information. Your best bet is to get in contact with Nintendo and see if they will do warrenty work on your unit. Here is a link to where you can get the warrenty process started. http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/repair/repair_charts_ds.jsp
