Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Continuous or fast photo captures

When we purchased our Panasonic DMC-TZ camera..we were told that we could take fast action photos..continuous photos with it. I haven't been able to figure out how. I press the shutter button and by the time I need the next pic to be taken...my son is already off the view area and I end up with snow instead of him on the snowboard... Help!

Pics are about 2 per second. If action is fast, like downhill snowboarding, then may not be fast enough for you. Use MOVie mode at 640 by 480. Not bad.

My Lumix DMC-TZ 10 stored pictures on its hard drive ( I don't know why, my card wasn't full!!). How do I download the photos to my computer?

How do you normally download your photos? If you do it by connecting the camera to the computer's USB port, simply remove the memory card before making the connection.

If you do it by taking the card out of the camera and putting it into a card reader, transfer the pictures from the camera to the card by using the Copy command in the Playback menu. How do I transfer photo's from my PC to the memory card in my Panasonic DMC-TZ8

The photo processing shop most likely will have trouble downloading the photos from your camera/memory card.
I suggest you purchase an USB memory stick and copy the photos to this USB memory stick and then take the USB memory stick to the photo processing shop.

I have a DMC-TZ2 that I bought a few years back. Yesterday I tried to take a photo with it, but no image came up in the view finder - it was completely black. I can still change settings and view photos...

Yes this is the same problem as mine. Have been told it is definitely a lens problem and may end up costing more than the camera. Have been advised to take it to a Panasonic Repairer which I haven't got around to yet as I am using another camera. I would still like to have it fixed as it is a great camera and a present from my Dad. Donna

How can I take high resolution photos on my Panasonic Lumix DMC FS15. I sent some photos to Costco to have them made into posters and was told that I needed a higher resolution photo to make a good clear...

All cameras have multiple settings for picture quality. For example if you email a lot of pictures select a lower resolution. If you have "poster" size prints made select the highest resolution you camera will do.
Go into your cameras set up and select the highest resolution you have. should be about 12MP.
You have a high quality print with that.

Aerial photos

My DMC-TZ3 always displays this message when in aerial mode - I would think that Panasonic programmed this into the setting.  You might never have noticed the message before or never used the aerial mode before ??

Format card in camera using camera's FORMAT function. Save your readable 100 on computer before you do, of course.
