My htc pro 2 wont let me send emails

I set up my email and i could receive emails but for some reason i cant send them plz help

Make sure you setup the *outbound* mail path, and see if the carrier
requires smtp authentication. I know Verizon does. With Verizon, within outlook, when doing setup use your account info from :my verizon" website. If you don't manage your account on line with Verizon, simply go create a user ID and password at verizonwireless.com. Those credentials should work. Verizon's support is at www.support.vzw.com
choose your phone model, and you should see email instructions as one of the top issues.

check the smtp settings of your email. or contact your email provider to be sure of the settings as well.

I can receive but not send emails
check settings. So if you using Gmail then outgoing mail should be : smtp.gmail.com and port 587.

Can receive email on my HTC Touch Pro but cannot send.
When u go to the message, it should be the menu little part in the bottom of the screen, click on that and go to reply and it will say via email and all this other **** but push reply vvia email.

HTC touch Pro email not working correctly..
When this happens to me, it's usually because Outlook has barfed-- close Outlook and restart it. If that doesn't work, restart the phone. If that doesn't work, perhaps you need to have some type of authentication to send email-- check your account settings.

Wont send or receive sms
First you need to get into your phones setting, then touch the pannel for text messages and click get settings.

After you are in your settings there will be a pannel to put in your voice mail and text message number.

You then must go kill your self

Sending email through aol
Call the Technical Support of your Provider to ask for the correct name(or IP) of the SMTP server.Check also the authentication type of the SMTP server.Good Luck.
