If your charger's output is a DC voltage then battery may be dead.Check if battery can be charged with another power supply to verify.
If your charger's output is AC and battery good then the problem is at mp3's built-in rectifying circuit and charge regulator.
Measure the charger's output with a electronic or analog multimeter to figure out a conclution or give us mp3's make and model to find some specs schematic etc.

Well, charging the battery alot may cause it to malfunction. So you have to charge your battery only when in is near zero (empty), and for no more than 8 hours depending on what device you use. Now your battery is dead, so you got to replace it. Goodluck

SOURCE: wont charge

Hi.

First remove the battery to reset the phone, and check if the problem is still there.

If the phone is under three months old you can call the phone provider, or Nextar, at the number listed on manual, and get the phone replaced.

If you do not want to replace the phone, go to a phone shop, test a replacement cable and ask to test the battery.

The player won't turn on.

Hey illinifansx5,

Have you tried plugging in the unit to your PC and then pressing the reset button for 5 seconds?

Also, try removing the battery for 30 seconds, then replace and attempt to charge.

If these options don't work, it may be a hardware or battery failure and you should try to return it.

Recharging mp3

Whenever the PD-6070 is connected to a PC, it will charge. The battery indicator on the OLED screen will slowly fill over and over as it is charging. When the charging is complete, the battery indicator will stay filled.

Mp3 player won't start

You need to check your MP3 Player on another PC. If it still have the problem then you must return it for a Firmware Update. When any kind of USB Devices plugged and couldn't continue the launch (boot) step. Then you have to be sure that the MP3 Player (Or USB Device): 1) Has a corrupted component. 2) Needs Firmware update (Know as Device BIOS Update).
