Question about Acer Aspire 1360 Notebook
My niece's laptop will not boot up. On switching on it goes to the menu with options for safe mode or last known good configuration but neither of these options work. I can get into the BIOS but am unsure where the problem lies. It keeps coming back to this menu as above in a loop.
I presume this is on Windows XP? There must have been a virus or improper logging out or OS problems with the computer. If you still have the original installation CD for your Windows XP, and it is bootable, you can insert the Boot CD and Press "R" for repair after the BIOS boot is finished. Then just follow repair instructions to restore your OS.
If you dont have a boot CD, you need to have a professional reinstall Windows for you.
