Easy way to watch movies on psp

Hi there.

PSP's play MPEG-4 type video files (mp4's) if you have movies you want to watch on your psp you will need to download a program to convert them into the mp4 format, then copy them to a s.d. card and watch them on your psp.

Or you can join Sites that sell movies online in mp4 format ready for you to watch.

I do not endorse illegal downloading.

Downloading movies to psp

Hi,

I would recommend using this FREE software. It converts files to the proper format that the PSP supports and also manages the files between your PC and PSP.

How Do I put Videos On My PSP?

Assuming you already have downloaded .mp4 videos on to your PC, you do the following:

1. You'll probably want to get a decent sized sony memory stick. Insert it into the PSP
2. Shut off the PSP and connect it to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Turn on the PSP and go the PSP's Settings and select USB Connection
4. Press X button on the PSP
5. On the PC navigate to the "untitled volume" (probably within my computer under removable drives)
6. You should see several folders when connected. Hopefully you see a folder called PSP.
7. create a new folder (right click -> new folder) and name it MP_ROOT
8. double click MP_ROOT
9. Create another folder inside of MP_ROOT called 100MNV01
10. Load .mp4 movies into the 100MNV01 folder
11. Enjoy watching flix on your PSP

How do I download videos on my psp?

Since YouTube videos is FLV or MP4 format, which might be not compatible with PSP, you need additional converter to make the downloaded video work with your PSP.

You just need two tools: Leawo Free YouTube Downloader and Leawo Free FLV Converter. This is the tutorial that guides you how to download YouTube videos to PSP with the above two tools - http://www.leawo.com/video/youtube-psp.html

How to download songs, videos, picture and games to my psp?

Contec your PSP to your computer. Navigate to your PSP on your computer and create these three new folders: VIDEO, MUSIC, and PHOTO. You can now add any of those media items to those folders and they will appear in folders on your console.

Good luck,

Internet videos

I don't think you can directly play movies from your web browser. Maybe if you have the latest firmware it will work.( i think the latest is around 3.80) If you want to add movies from the internet and SAVE them onto your PSP, then follow these steps:
1. Download Firefox if you don't have it
2. Goto the page with the movie you want
3. Goto File in the top left corner
4. Select Save Page as
5. Save it anywhere you want
6. Connect your PSP to your USB, and enter USB mode with it
7. Read the following/download the converter
