Question about Video Cameras
I have bought jvc everio g series. model number gz-mg142. i cannot transfer any film onto my mac. can't open any of the files. is this thing compatible with mac and if it is how do i get the damn thing working. it's the 2nd camcorder i have tried as i had no luck with sony i bought. this says it's mac compatible. thanks jason
Try renaming the .mod file to .mov Quicktime still won't open it but vlc will, you can use ffmpeg to re-encode them. I was told that my JVC everioGZ-MG334 would be fine for me also. I wish I still had my DV tape camcorder firewire connection and was all a breeze.
