You have couple of option here, either you build your own amplifying circuit and antenna to the serial port or you use existing RF module.

Dial Up Internet

Type of Dial-Up Networking Service Today "Today you can find a 56k modem. Transmit data at a speed of fifty-six Kbit / s V.90 or V.92 protocol. You must understand that there is the fastest available dial-up modem. 56k is the limit of maximum bandwidth of a standard telephone line. Be sure to connect to the Internet in areas with less noise power to avoid slow Internet connection speeds. At this pace, you can play online games, download large files, make video conferences or movies from a video streaming site. Many of these applications do not support Internet call dear. A broadband cable high-speed, satellite or DSL Internet service are better preferred

You should expect to put in place to take some time to arrange a telephone connection, negotiate the protocol and, finally, allows the transmission of data. In some places, this process is slower. Note that the entire device is composed of three entities of the company ISP, Telephone and the user. Everyone has the power to suspend the Internet connection for any reason.

Yes, of course, before the introduction of the newest high-speed 3G wireless, cable, ADSL and even satellite broadband, has been a top seller. Oggi, è ancora una buona opzione in zone remote che non dispongono di banda larga o di tecnologia di rete in fibra ottica fino ad ora. satellite network is suitable for the rural population who want to be a fast and reliable high-speed connections. Urban and rural areas, offers dial-up packages to attract users who do not require very fast networks, and want the lowest possible cost monthly fee for Internet service.

This technology is very similar to digital subscriber line (DSL), because they use a phone line. However, DSL is more preferable because it is much faster and can use the website and answer a call on the same telephone line. Unfortunately, dial-up does not work the same way, the caller will often find your line is busy. In terms of broadband connections, ADSL first. Offers the latest technologies that offer greater speed and accuracy, such as ADSL, SDSL, VDSL and HDSL.

What is the wep password

The encryption key secures your data from unauthorized access.
The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router.

2. Consider compressed video transmission in an ATM network. Suppose standard ATM cells must be transmitted through 5 switches. The data rate is 43 Mbps. a. What is the transmission time for one cell...

Sounds like a "homework" question to me.
Tell your teacher that I am doing your homework for you.

If each cell is 4.3 mbits, then each cell takes 10 seconds to go "through" each switch. So, on the average, one must wait 5 seconds
(given a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 10) for the switch to complete sending an "active" cell. Then, actually transmitting one cell will take 4.3/43 seconds, i.e., 10 cells per second.

So, having 5 switches means 4 (or is it 5?) delays, i.e., 4 (or 5) times (10 seconds plus 0.1 seconds) resulting in a maximum of about one minute.

Unable to connect to wireless network

check your network IP and put one in the same classe of the wireless network. For example if you router IP is 10.0.0.254/255.0.0.0 then you must configure your IP like: 10.0.0.1/255.0.0.0 (instead of "1" you can choose a number between 1 and 253)

Hi, Could be done. On the Dell XP - 1. Activate your Internet Connection Sharing. Go to Control Panel, Click on Network Connections, right click on your Local Area Connection, Properties, Advanced tab, check Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection. In Home networking connection, choose "Local Area Connection", OK; 2. Back to General settings, click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click on Properties, tick Use the following IP address: IP address 192.168.0.1, Subnet mask 255.255.255.0, Default gateway 192.168.0.1, if you know ITT DNS use them otherwise tick "Obtain DNS server address automatically." You have to connect the DellXP with the DellVista using a crossover networking cable. On the Dell Vista- 1. In your Network Connections, right click on your Local Area Connection, Properties, click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click on Properties, tick Use the following IP address: IP address 192.168.0.2, Subnet mask 255.255.255.0, Default gateway 192.168.0.1, if you know ITT DNS use them otherwise tick "Obtain DNS server address automatically." The above method will also work with peer to peer wireless networking. It might also facilitate connection if you enable auto-detect proxy settings in your browser. There are other methods. This is also better explained at Microsoft support Hope this be of help/idea. Post back how things turns up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
