how do you load photos from canon S500 onto lap top c omputer. Have just purchasede usb cable. one end to camera and other to computer. I am a pensioner and a bit lost in this area. the camera is a canon ;power shot S500 digital elph

after installing the software that came in a cd along with your canon digicam...open that software...there will be IMAGE CAPTURE tab...when u click it ,the photos will be transfreed automatically from your cam to laptop
