Re: monitor screen display in stretched out and not...
Tell me the monitor model and year of make...
if the screen displayed in different sizes and shape when u on it and change mode while in on position after few minutes then this is problem in the Horizontal-vertical section of yoke coil. check out the polyester capacitor & mosfets in that area. also check the center drive inductance and the width control inductance.
the processor might be locked due to front panel keypad keys....
the solution is ----make a call to that company they will tell u the unlocking procedure. if it still prisist then change the memory IC.

there are several things you can do, change the screen resolution, or change the size of the text, to do this go to Control Panel - Appearance and Personalization - Display then click the 125% radio button and apply. in versions of windows older than windows 7, this process may be slightly different, this option may be in the ease of access centre. if you have trouble changing either of these things type your operating system and change screen resolution or change text size into google. to change the screen resolution go to control panel and in appearance and personalisation click adjust screen resolution, this will make everything look bigger, try to keep near the same aspect ratio or photos and text will look distorted or stretched.
Hi Depending upon your operating system: Right click on an open area of the background screen. The goto to settings or display settings. From here you're going to want to change the display resolution or display size to match your monitor. Experiment with the different sizes until you get the one that's right for you.
Push the button on the Monitor to activate the OSD (On Screen Display). With the OSD, one can "stretch" the picture (horizontally/vertically) and "move" the picture (horizontally/vertically) in order to "fill" the viewable area with your compueter's output.
There are adjustments in the size of the items on a screen under the screen properties, settings. If you right click on the desktop screen and then properties you can get there. There is at least one size which causes a distortion of images being displayed. This may be your problem.
For Windows XP -- within the control panel, click on Display Icon and the following screen will appear. I have 2 monitors (Laptop and HP L1925 monitor). On the display properties screen, near the top of the screen, click on the “Settings” tab. When the “Settings” screen displays, select the “Advanced” button near the bottom of the screen.
The “Plug and Play Monitor …” screen will appear as shown below. From this screen, click on the “INTEL(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile” tab near the top of the screen.Note: Tab stretches the full width of the screen.
The "Plug and Play Monitor ..." screen will change to show Intel Graphis Media Screen. From this screen click on the “Graphics Properties” button near the center of the screen.
The screen will change to show the graphics properties. Note, the screen actually comes up with “DISPLAY SETTING” selection (in dark Blue on the Left hand side of screen). To change Display settings click on the words “DISPLAY SETTINGS” (left side of screen) and the screen will switch to show Rotation options. On the top of the screen, select the “Monitor” you wish to change by clicking on “Monitor” button.Next make sure the “Enable Rotation” box is check on the right side of screen and then click on “90”.Your monitor should rotate at this point to portrait.A message will appear letting you confirm if you wish to keep this new setting.Specify yes to keep the new setting.
If your computer does not have a video card that supports the correct
resolutions for the widescreen monitors, then your picture may get
stretched. Much like watching normal tv programs on a an hd set. It
will eitther strech or cut off the picture.
Try different settings in you computer display settings.
the original image size was probably recorded in 4:3 aspect ratio...meaning your widescreen is a 16:9 ratio size screen and is stretching it outwards to fill the whole screen. If you want the image to look normal.. ie. not short and fat people.... you need to change the picture size in the settings from widescreen 16:9 to normal 4:3 tv in the settings menu most likely...Also most remotes will/should have a button for that.
