Go to bios set up and configure from there ...
& install the driver of your graphics card & then go to properties by right clicking on desktop there go to settings tab from there go to advanced ,in advanced there will be one tab by something like nvidia from there you can configure ...
be sure that you have installed the latest version of directx otherwise some options of your graphics card may be slow or may not be available......
install direct x 9.0 c

Hi ,
Did you try re-installing the drivers of the card , If the performance is slow it can be due to other reasons , your processor taking more load , go to Task Manager and check the Ram and Processor utilization.
Please do let me know the system configuration.

GRAPHICS CARD

That motherboard and videa card connect using the AGP standard so you are quite limited to what video cards you can get without upgrading the entire system. Also, since your system is that old getting a modern graphics card will not help much as the processor (CPU) will limit it greatly.

nVidia has not released an AGP card in a few generations but they did have some back with the 7600 AGP. ATI released an AGP version of it's last generation of cards with the HD3850.

I personally think you are wasting your money and should consider upgrading your entire system if you are planning an playing any games. I would suggest getting the cheapest AGP video card you can find say a GeForce 6200 or Radeon X1550. Don't spend more than $50 or $60.

Remember that it must be AGP to fit on your motherboard. Another thing to consider is that any AGP video card you buy for you current system will not work in any new computer.

Video card upgrade

NewEgg.com still carries 4X/8X Radeon 9250 cards in the $30 U.S. range. These will perform better than your GeForce 2 but your machine is still going to choke on the new computer games.
The PCI Express based video cards on the new systems outperform the older AGP cards by something like a factor of 10.
