Question about Insignia Sport MP3 Player
I bought my MP3 a month or two ago. I was running on the road, listening to the music with the MP3 on my armband. The music stopped playing mid-song, so i stopped and looked at it and the screen reads "Rebuilding the Library please wait...." and it is frozen on this screen. I can not do a thing with it, even trying to turn it off and it still reads this. There is no manual for this MP3, I checked for it. It is a Insignia MP3 NS-4V17. Please help me so i can get back to enjoying my music on my runs. Thanks for your time.
well i synchronized some music and when i was finished i tryied to listen 2 it and it said build library.. and it frezes on 378 even if i turn it on and back on it builds the brary and frezes on the same #.
Yeah, if you hold the power button for about 15 seconds it should work. I just had the same problem as you guys and it fixed it.

You have to hold it down for 10-20 seconds, then it should turn off and work normally.

Hey, i had a similar problem. this page (http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?p=211164) suggested holding the power button for a fairly long time to power cycle the device. I had to hold it for about 10-15 seconds and it worked. good luck :)

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
