Recently received as a gift new A170 camera but there are no instructions on how to operate the camera - yes there is a CD with info on downloading etc and a very brief text on inserting the batteries in 20 diff languages but what all the buttons do and what facilities it has ???? no idea apart from trial and error - this cannot be right

You can download a manual by Googling the make and model followed by the word Manual, then follow the appropriate link(s).

when you plug ot to your computer does it recognize it? if yes all you have to do is copy some songs into it and that's all.

you need to have the software drivers installed..buy the cd..otherwise nothing will download or upload...instructions are included in adobe format
