It might be easier to save the pictures in a folder, then use the attachment feature to send them.
To make a folder on your desktop, right click the desktop, goto "NEW",click it.Under the new folder will be "new folder" blinking, type the name you would like it to be named and it will show under the folder.Hit "enter" and now you have a place to access your pictures.Goto "my computer" and open the drive with the pictures. When you see the folder with the pictures right click them and in the window left click copy.Goto your new folder and right click it then paste the photos into the folder.
Make sure you open and view the pictures in the new folder to make sure they are correct. Now you can send them in an E-mail.When done you can right click the folder and delete it.

Nikon Coolpix L22. The computer wire will not work. when i plug it in and put the camera on, it doesnt show anything about the pictures being uploaded. Nothing uploads, nothing happens. The USB cord is...

The camera will need to be plugged in and turned on for you to be able to transfer pictures from it.
Plugging the camera in will not make anything special happen on its own-- if you are using Windows (after the camera is plugged in, turned on, and with your memory card still in the camera), try opening "My Computer" and looking for the camera's icon within that window. The camera (and the photos on the memory card inside) will be shown just as any other CD or jump drive that you would plug into your computer. You can copy photos off of the camera by double clicking the camera's icon, (probably opening the DCIM folder) and dragging and dropping the image files onto some other location on your computer.

HI, I am trying to scan and email it to a friend.  How do I do that?  I pushed scan and had my email open but nothing happened.  Can you walk me through this procedure.  I have a Canon MX310.  Thanks

try scanning the photo or page/
save to my pictures folder as jpg file/
open email click attachment/
it will open an application to choose file so go to my pictures folder and select the file you just crated and saved/
your email will upload that fill so it might take a minute or two/
write your email and then send it.
practice it a few times sending it to yourself or another email address you might have/
when you have successfully recieved your file you now know how to do it/
