I have a Dayton Pahse 1, 3/4 HP motor that shows 115/230 volts on the label. I just had an outlet coverted to 240. I plugged it in and the motor barely moves and sounds like it is stuck or not enough...

there should be a diagram on the label for 110 or 220v-are you sure the last garage you ran it in was 220-it should only run at one of those levels without re-wiring the motor-cheers Denny

The battery life for the remote for my Hampton Bay fan, Model cf556br-crk only lasts 3-4 weeks. It is 12 volt and should last longer. Any solutions?

More info,please.
there are always solutions to a problem. Usually 4.
I have to dig around the internet to see what batteries these take..
Hold on.
The remote control takes 4 AAA cells.
Try Energizer E2 batteries. They are the longest lasting batteries available.
Lithium.
If the remote dies in 4 weeks or less, the remote is at fault.
Probably a factory recall for those remotes.
Try pulling one of the batteries out when not in use. There may be a power drain, internally ALL of the time.

Bought a climate keeper 16in oscillating stand fan w/ remote control model# SD10-9 last month and its already stopped working. There has to be some kind of warranty on it, right? I cant find any compa

the warranty should be in the box it came in, you would also need the reciept to prove time of purchase. if there was no warrenty in the box you can check online to see if there are any other options.

Light does not come on but fan works

It's defective. Bring it back and get one that works before the return policy grace period is over.

I bought a Hampton Bay ceiling fan at Home Depot 2 yrs ago. It has 4 lights with globes. Max 60 watt. Bulbs hav e never lasted long Weeks ago I turned it on and had a flash fire where the wires went up...

What would a new fan cost?
What would even a small fire cost?
It seems like it is not worth trying to salvage...the risk is too high!
That is my opinion.

I cant figure out how to get at the light bulb to change it

Hello,
Try pulling the globe straight down. I believe that this model has spring loaded clips holding the globe on the base.

Fan won't reverse though it has before

It could be 1 of 3 things. 1) Receiver unit, 2) Sender (Remote), 3) Motor. For my brand new ceiling fan it turned out it was the motor.
