-   can anyone tell me how to get the disk out of the DVD. It is not responding. Just flashes HELLO and won't come on. I have tried everything short of taking the thing apart. That may be next. -   sollie60

-   hooked up all cables as instruted. comes on flashing hello, when the flashing quits I press setup but it has no on screen display.just a horizontal sink pattern ,so I can't configure the setup.-   Guest

-   i started out loving my protron which i bought from qvc as well december of 2005. i made dvds of all my vhs tapes and dvc tapes but just this past christmas i couldnt do it. at first it took several tries to get the disk out then it would say it recorded but would not finalize and nothing would be on the disc yet i couldnt use it anymore. then we would have to cut it off by the plug. then the hello went to a couple of line but no interaction with the remote or front panel. now nothing shows up on the display of the unit yet protron still goes across the screen. i am on hold with qvc now.

-   My Protron keeps flashing hello. Can not use remote, can not turn off/on at machine. What can I do? I bought it from QVC a couple of years ago and did not use it until now. Not able to return it to QVC because they only allow 30 days after purchase to return.-   grannyof14

-   We have the same problem. HELLO flashes and we unpluged and no help.
I think QVC should take all of the units back and trade for one that works. I understand that the company is out of business but QVC has a reputation to uphold so it would be in their interest to replace the units and make the consumer happy. We have never been able to use the unit and we keep trying. It wasn't cheap !-   pncsell2
