52" rear projection. I can not see the scroll feature at the bottom of the screen during football games o news casts. i hav tried the normal mode on he zoom feature but still not showing.

Check the "Aspect" setting on the TV, it's probably set to "Zoom" If that's ok, check the settings on your cable/dss/fios, etc receiver. If you still have an issue, post a comment and I will help some more.

Have you tried hitting the format picture button on your remote control. Seems the picture is in zoom mode. If you have a cable box for HD Channels then look on the remote for a button (format) or Screen size.

Akai stuck on zoom??

Run it through the different 'MODE' settings. it may really be on zoom, or just confused.

Also, try unplugging it for a minute. plug it back in and see if it's better.
