As a last resort you can uninstall and the reinstall the printer

Follow these steps: 1. Press the "Operator Panel" button to print a Network Setup page.
2. Locate the entry labeled "UAA" or "Physcal Address."
3. Write down the 12-digit address. An example is "00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E."
Set the IP Address 1. Insert your Lexmark drivers CD and select "View Documentation."
2. Select "Software and Utilites" and click "IP Setup Utility" to start the program.
3. Enter the physical address for the printer in the "Discover Print Servers" field and click "Discover."
4. Select the printer from the "Configure Print Servers" list and click "TCP/IP Settings."
5. Click "Suggest Address" if you'd like the utility to locate an available IP for you, or enter the IP of your choice in the "IP Address" field and click "OK.

That flashing light is "busy" sign and it is very natural to seen it while printing.

• Press Continue (>) to print the contents of the print buffer.
• Press and release Cancel (x) to cancel the print job.
• Press and hold Cancel (x) to reset the printer.

The manufacturers suggested yield is 3,500 pages. This is assuming 8 1/2 X 11 pages with about 5% toner coverage. A lot of times your toner coverage may be higher and thus yielded pages will be less.

I had the same problem on my E250dn. First remove the paper tray. Shut off the printer. Tilt it sideways if it's manageable. Then, clean the 2 rollers directly underneath the printer with alcohol. That solved my problem and hoped yours as well.

The users guide states that reset proceedure is provided with new photoconductor unit. Do you still have those instructions?
