IT WILL NOT TURN ON.
I have the same problem.

I HAVE A HITACE 50FX20D IT COMS ON BUT THE SCREEN IS BLUE OR WHITE SOMTIMS IT TURNS ON THEN TURNS OFF

Could be blowed fuse, power supply, Horz output stage, protection mode over load, bad horizontal transformer, voltage block, broken board, burt bulb.
You will have to specified what type of PTV it is, model, and what you have done to check.
To many problem it may have, could also goes into protection do to no defflection problem.
Is it a crt rear projector, lds rear projector, dlp, plasmas, led need more info.
