Stuck on Align Screen argh (by 5 users)

Previous answerr said to delete the "welcome" fine on the phone and do a reset. However these is no such file on my phone. Please help. I dont care if I bypass the touch screen, I just need to use it.

That should read "welcome file"

Have installed activesync on xp and viewd files as well on vista there are no files named welcome and no windows/startup directory on the phone

Dpoesnt even answer the question. Soft reset hard reset, nothing works. I have a bad screen and need to bypass the "align screen" part

Lol I was stuck on the damn allign screen thing but I finally realized that if you tap it firmly and persicely on the center of the little crosshair at each corner it finishes the process lawl!

hi there

hard rest your pda usnig camara+recording button+power button and reset it with stylus....but you will loose your data stored on phone.....bet data on storage card will be saved........
