Maybe I asked the question incorrectly. The videos were all purchased off of iTunes and reside on my iTunes Library...but since I hit that darn update iTunes software button...it hosed all my videos. I can hear 'em, I just can't see 'em.

Download a current version of windows media player on your pc and open it. when it opens it will ask if you want to search for music on your pc - choose yes or ok. The media player will locate any music files on your pc and bring them into it so you can see them. use the "sync" function to convert the file formats to mp3, then connect your player to your pc using the cable and transfer the music to it. the sync function should convert the files to mp3 format first and then when they are converted - it should sync or transfer them to a useable version on your mp3 player.. Be patient, the sync feature is sometimes slow.

Try to reset the network settings.
Go to your iPod settings. Click on 'Reset Network Settings' .
Now, try to upgrade it.

Helpppppppppp

If you are restoring it through itunes you should not really get this problem. Have you downloaded the latest version of itunes? It may be driver related. Download the latest version of itune here
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ it will have all of the necessary drivers for your ipod.
Then try to restore your ipod using itunes.

Hope this helps you resolve your problem

The current version is 7.5, that's what you need to download.

Ipod

You should have itunes version 7.5
You can download it if you don't have the current version:
www.apple.com/itunes

I would be very careful with what you download on limewire, it's very easy to get viruses or spyware.

And some songs downloaded from limewire won't transfer to an ipod.
