Try this: unplug the power cord from the wall, let TV set stand for AT LEAST 30 minutes, then plug back in and and see if the TV operates as normal. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. Good luck !
This is a power supply issue. Probably in the high voltage stages. Maybe a fuse, regulator IC, or Horiz. Output transistor or all of them. If you don't know anything about TV repair, you should take it to a shop that will provide an estimate to you.
If ti blinks three times, then it may be an issue with the flyback transformer. It's called "three strikes"...it tries three times to come on, and after that enters a safety shutdown mode to protect the TV. Might need to have a professional shop take a look at it.
I will suggest dont ise it until someone who is qualified comes over to give you an estimate,I belive you have a lot of loose conections in the horizontal driver and output circuits,power supply and crt board.Should not be expensive to repair right now.
