Well i hooked up my new deck but it wouldnt turn on. turns out every time i hook it up the fuse in the back of the deck blows. i called the best buy install guys and they said sounds like a bad unit. anyone goit any suggestions?

check your ground wires to the engine block. if the engine is turning when you turn the key and it wont run the engine crank shaft sensor is not hooked up or installed it's located at the top of the trans just behind the engine
Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.
check for any loose connections at the fuse block or a loose fuse
using an ohm meter would help
check the harness on the back of the radio for loose connection
bad igntion switch, again an ohm meter would help !
