My Panasonic PT LC76U has horizontal pixelated lines. See image at this link http://abigproduction.us/_images/panasonic.jpg

you need to check:
the Vga cables if the image shown is that from a computer
firstly check if the Panasonic logo comes ok in the beginning
if ok then try connecting a laptop directly thru a short patch cable to the computer port of the projector[i am assuming that the projector has been installed to the ceiling]
if this works ok , then the projector is fine!
you need to figure out the problem with the vga cabling and switchers if any of them are used!

Panasonic lb60ntu will not project and none of the power/standby lights will come on. The fan will come on for a minute and then shut itself off. The bulb was replaced and no changes.

Hi,

Do any LED lights come on? Almost every projector has error codes which indicate where any problem may lay. If you don't have a manual you can download one here

http://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_manual_3264.pdf

Did the previous lamp fail catastrophically (ie. did it explode?). It is always worthwhile removing the the new lamp and replacing it with the old one. On occasion lamps can be fitted but not fully seated which causes problems.

Make sure that you clean the air filters (if present) and reset the lamp timer (if possible).

Is the projector still under warranty? Once you rule out the basics you'll need to consider specialist repair. Search for Panasonic support in your local region and see who they recommend. Budget models which are out of waranty are often uneconomic to repair when all is said and done.

The Panasonic projector PT-LB50NTU or E have two type of data inputs.
One is RGB or VGA cable and second is VIDEO cable. If your IMAC have video or vga output than you can connect.

Network adapter not found when running wireless program

Sounds like the Apple Dealer is onto the right idea.Unfortunately wireless control for projectors is still in it's infantcy and subject to compatability issues. A complicated alternative is to "Try" a wirless bridge adaptor in between the laptop and the projector. using the lan port on the projector, you would set up a mini lan between the projector and the bridge, and you would get a wireless connection between the mac and the bridge.
Probably too complicated, the extra cable may just be the go for now until panasonic release the firmware upgrade for you.
Good Luck in the Courtroom!
