any numbers that are not dividable by 3

so take each number between 1 and 100 , divide it by 3 and if you don.t get a remainder that number is not what you are looking for

I think the problem with this equation comes when x = 0. At this point, it is undefined. Thus, it is a horizontal line y=-2, except when x=0. This is normally signified by putting an open circle when x=0.

I hope I answered you question. If not, repost.

Good luck,

Paul

This may not be what you want, but I turn the mixed number into a fraction. Say 5 1/2, you multiply the whole number (5) by the denominator for the fraction (2), then add the numerator. So you have 5X2+1. That is the new numerator, it goes over the denominator. This gives you 11/2. To check it divide the numerator by the denominator. 2 into 11 gives you 5 (Rem) 1. 1 is the numerator now and it goes over the denomerator. 5 1/2.

I know it sounds like a lot, but try about ten or so, it becomes 2nd nature. You can make it all into decimal, 5 1/2 becomes 5.5, but now you have to put more numbers into the equation.

This is true. I had a math teacher ask me if he had to cut down a tree so I'd have enough scratch paper.

Somehow you're calculating 12!/(5!/7!).

Press 1 2 MATH left-arrow 4 / 5 MATH left-arrow 4 / 7 MATH left-arrow 4 ENTER to calculate the desired value. Alternatively, you can press 1 2 MATH left-arrow 3 5 ENTER or 1 2 MATH left-arrow 3 7 ENTER to calculate the same thing.

Hello,

To convert fractions to decimals or decimals to fractions, you use the [S<->D] key. Each time you press the key the result is displayed in the other format.

Alternatively, If you multiply or divide two integer numbers put a decimal mark at the end of one of the numbers (any one). The result will be displayed in decimal format.

Hope it helps.
