How to connet bluetooth on nokia 5230

Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows devices to communicate via high-frequency radio signals. Bluetooth headphones are just one of the many devices designed to work with portable music devices as well as ordinary phones. With Bluetooth headphones, you can listen to music as well as make and receive calls--all from the same device. Connecting them is a snap.

1
  • Turn on your cell phone. Enable Bluetooth by accessing your phone's general or network settings. Your phone will search for Bluetooth signals in the area--they are usually denoted by a small icon displayed on the screen. If you don't know how to turn on Bluetooth or aren't sure whether your phone supports Bluetooth technology, refer to your phone's user guide.

  • 2

Turn on your Bluetooth headphones while near your cell phone. Turning on a Bluetooth-enabled device will usually put it in pairing mode, meaning it is actively searching for a device to connect to. Since your phone also is actively searching for a Bluetooth device, it should find it right away and prompt you to connect to it. It may ask for a password--refer to your headset's user manual for the default password and how to change it.

Test your connection. Once your headset is paired, the phone will usually start sending calls and audio to it without any additional configuration. Some phones may prompt you and ask which device to use. Try making calls and/or playing music. If you hear music from only one ear, your phone may not support stereo Bluetooth. If you don't hear anything, re-pair the headphones. Power off your phone and headphones, then turn them back on and repeat steps 1 and 2.

Dear jonaclau. I tried to find some solutions, but i think that this is my best one. If you connect to the internet through your cell phone as a bluetooth modem it will charge through your cell phone service as a "data call" which unless you have a service plan for doing so charges you insane fees and rates. If you already have a unlimited data plan, which anyone using such services should have, then don't worry about it. It doesn't cost you cell minutes, it costs you data bites which can run much higher on your monthly bill than additional cell minutes do. If you have a data plan with your cell package like I do then congrads, sounds like you can probably get wireless internet access through your cell phone like I do. You'll know if your paying for a data plan because it costs you a noticeable amount extra each month.
Transfering files is easy, ignore the other stuff you got yourself into, set up the trust between the two devices and be sure to password protect the connection. You'll be prompted to initialy set up a password and enter in the same password on both devices.
The rest is so easy it's certain to cause confusion because you'll think it just can't be that easy.
Turn your bluetooth on in your phone if you have an option to turn it on or off, you should.
Turn on the bluetooth in your computer, usually you'll have a bluetooth manager program installed to do so.
Password protect and establish the connection.

I cannot pair a Nokia 6700 with Samsung Galaxy s11 via Bluetooth. The Galaxy recognises the Nokia, but says problem with PIN nunber or Password. I don't know of any such PIN or Password. Cannot connect...

If you need the pairing code for Bluetooth to connect just pairing with the same code in each device
for example if your device asking for code just enter 1 in your device ( Samsung galaxy) and enter the same code (it means 1 for Nokia), the code will depend on you but the important the code must be same each other.

I have purchased a used GT-B3410 Model when i am connecting it through Blue tooth it asks for the security password which i don,t know . please help me

The bluetooth pin number is actually just to make sure both sides enter the same code. If for example, you're trying to connect to your computer, try using 1234 on each device. Or 0000, or whatever number you like.

Certain devices like bluetooth headsets will specify a code to use. Almost always 0000 or 1111.

Not able to connect Jabra BT 125 to Laptop

    Correction to the above note...

You can connect your Jabra 125 to your computer's audio output and listen to music via the ear piece. You need to make the adjustments in the control pannel. Set the audio/sound output to the blue tooth. You also need to sync the earpiece to the pc via a dongle or bluetooth adapter on the pc. Works great...

    Password

Okay.If your tying to connect to another bluetooth device.im pretty sure the password changes everytime.
But if you go in to your bluetooth settings, check that safe mood bluetooth is turned off. this should stop the asking for passwords.
If the above doesnt work check the 'Password' isnt your phones pin number or security number.

Hope I helped you out a bit!
