Model WF-R125AC. Why does it wash for about 15 minutes, then displays "98 minutes error HE2"?

Hi There. HE2 is a Samsung error denoting a fault with the machine not getting up to temperature. While there's a tiny possibility that the problem is with the relay that powers the element or the main control board its self, 99% of the time this is down to the heating element failing. From what I can tell, the machine takes a fairly generic heating element and you can buy them on eBay around £20. It's a fairly easy fix once you have the element, you can probably find a video on You Tube I would imagine

tE is heating error. Water not heating, Could be a faulty element, faulty wiring, faulty temperature sensor or faulty control board.

Will not heat

Most likely the heating element. They are pretty cheap and almost as easy to change as an ovens element. Most times they are cracked and easy to tell if broke, otherwise could be a computer issue.

Heating element break easily with all the contracting and expanding they do. So most of the time it's the element.

F 03 showing on machine

Yes F-03 indicates a faulty thermistor (it's inside the heating element at the back). Before calling an engineer, just open the bottom rear panel and check that the connector has not come loose (OR IN MY CASE FALLEN OFF COMPLETELY). This can happen if there is a spin cycle that runs out of balance big time. (two thin wires on a square unit about 5mm in size fitted to the middle of the heating element).

Washer dryer not heating up

both the 'wash' & the 'dryer' have their own heating elements, If the 'wash' completes its full cycle including 'spin', then I suspect this heat element is ok.Re the dryer, most likely the heat element circuit is 'open circuit' somewhere, could be  the element, thermal fuse, thermostat, or a wire burned out
