If you texts are as long as emails, they will be broken up. Long messages should go via email. Contact your carrier to ask what their character limit is on SMS. It should be 160 max.
Sending email to SMS is free for the sender, but the recipient is subject to the standard delivery charges. Only the first 160 characters of an email message can be delivered to a phone, and only 160 characters can be sent from a phone. Text-enabled fixed-line handsets are required to receive messages in text format.
embertonchri, please press '#' until a small window appears asking your input method. you will be able to confirm your selection on the top line of the scree: 'abc' means character mode '123' means number mode when you are writing text/sms message
if this is a Sprint account call them up and ask them mail a the text that you just deleted by accident (all other carriers, I dont think they keep the text) but you can always ask...Sprint is for SURE
I have the same problem. I can send a one character text message but the phone locks up if I try and send a multiple char message or if I hit the space button. Also, same thing happens in the notpad app.
Hi, This is a common problem. But there is a solution for this problem. go to Messaging. Then hit Options. Scroll down to settings. Hit text message. Options - Then "Message Centres". Hit the Edit button and the following number should come up:
+47973100973 Save it and try sending messages. If again the same problem exist then call up your customer care who provides the services of your phone like Airtel, Reliance etc.. Ask the message center number and follow the above steps and save that service center number. Hopefully it should work. Thank you......
