I attempted to download a ringtone from the "24" official website. I received the download on my phone but was not given the option of "apply as ringtone". I still have the sound file on the phone but cannot apply it. I have a Motorola l6 phone. Any ideas?

What kind of phone? Most newer phones have apps you can download for free to make your own ringtone but especially for iphones it is not easy. If you are somewhat tech savvy search your phone model in google and "custom ringtones"
If not so tech savvy its easiest to shell out the money for a already made ringtone of the music you want. Only purchase ringtones from official stores on your phone Ex; Iphone: Itunes Android: android market or google play. I suggest not using your computer to buy ringtones or searching for ringtones on your computer browser in general. Theres lots of scams out there.
You need the data cable Software for pc and ring tones
do you have these three?

I've never received ringtones via bluetooth, but I do know Samsung made it ridiculously hard to customize your ringtones on the Rant. The only way I know of to do it, other than going online on the phone and downloading ringtones there, is to use a site like Myxer to send the songs you want directly to your phone.
First you have to have songs downloaded onto your phone either Bluetooth or wireless web. At the end of the download, the option to use it as a ringtone will usually be given, but if it is not, just go to "downloads" and set from there or "ringtones"(where the pre-set ones are) and set from there.. If I knew more about your device I could (probably) walk you through it.
just check at manufacturer website that wether your mobile support mp3 ringtones or not..for ex if your mobile is nokia go to nokia.com > select your phone and see user manual which gives u details about your mobile .........
if you are unable to run mp3 ringtones use free audio converters available on net to convert your mp3 ringtones to the format that your mobile support.........
to download free audio converters goto google.com and type free audio converters and you will get the links check the links which gives you free download of audio converters.....now when you download the software install it and use your mp3 ringtones . good luck
