I just purchased a logitech desktop microphone 600 and it will not recognize my voice. I have it plugged in the right port and it recognize it is there but it won't give me sound. can you help me with this problem?

Right mouse click on the sound control icon in your system tray select recording devices and set it up there, might have to go into properties and set volume level, make sure it isn't muted

Did you check whether the plug is in the right port and it is not set to mute in the volume panel anywhere, and also the driver is installed and working properly, no exclaimation mark in USB devices?
Get a separate microphone, do not get a combo. This way you can position your camera at an ideal position and your mic as a perfect position to pick up your voice. combo units are nice because its one less thing but you will be unhappy with the results
go to control panel - speech recognition[sic] and then a sceer comes up where it asks questions 2nd one set-up my mic. It worked for me and i use vista 64(sucky)
