Starter is under truck about few feet from front on passenger side. Bolted into bell housing. Solenoid is on starter. Follow positive battery cable straight to solenoid. Go in through wheel well or go under truck. Easy to spot.

The starter selinoid(sp) is either bad,  or the starter is loose and not grounded , one of the wires to the selinoid(sp) is off, or the starter itself is bad. Least likly.
