Question about Compaq Evo N410C Notebook
I lost power while on battery. Trying to reboot, the pc gets to the windows XP page then flips to the '...windows did not start successfully' and start options screen. Won't start in any option (safe, command prompt, etc) I've changed BIOS to enable laptop ethernet boot but can't work out how this works. The only boot devices listed are multi bay 1 & 2, the hard disk & the ethernet. The multi bay has a wireles LAN card installed which doesn't seem much help. I don't have on board floppy or disk drives. How the heck can I get in to say maybe reinstall or fix windows
You need to get ya XP setup disk and use that... to repair OR reinstall.
Do you not have a recovery disk?
