First Option:
mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger
Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging
IF Charging Problem not Solved So

Second Option:
Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC
And charging Problem will Solved Quickly

first try to use your charger into another laptop, if the the another laptop was charged using your charger, it means your battery is the problem, but if it is still not charging it means the problem is your charger. then try your battery to use it into another laptop, as same as the i mention in the charger, if they or both fine, maybe the problem is the batery terminal of your laptop.

test the voltage of charger with testing tool need 40V

try with another charger still you face problem try to change battery of your laptop.

My suggestion:
You need a new laptop charger with suitable voltage for your Acer Notebook.

Try another charger. If it turns on and chargers the unit you are currently using needs to be replaced. Do not leave your charger plugged in after charging your battery as this will shorten its life.

Make Sure Your Bettary Is In Working Condition. If Not Then Contact Acer Help Center. And Replace Your Bettary.

Please Please Please change your charger right away .. I Got 2 Acer laptop last week and both had same probelm ..if there would be any fluctuations in voltage from your adaptor it will fry up your laptop and you will be in big trouble. Please dont do any experiments on your adapter and change it right away. I Got one laptop last week and customer tried so many angles like you did and fried up his laptop's motheboard already.
Hope you will listen to my suggestion. new charger is not very expensive.

if your brother computer is the same as yours try to use his batery on your computer and if your computer works that means your batery is bad if your brothers computer is not the same the adapter may not be the same and will not charge your batery so make sure about your brither computer to do the test or find the adapter for yours
