Question about HP 610 Color Copier
I just got a 610 and I loaded new ink cartridge. The message says replace color cartridge so I got another new one and got the same message. It will not copy at all B&W or Color. It says to press cancel to cancel print job. I did a reboot, no good same message. I cleaned the contacts, same message. Is there hope or am I out of luck?
Take out the ink cartridges and take a close look at the holder. If the holder has a wire underneath where the cartridge would be that wire may have bent and poked a hole in the circuit tape at the back of the holder or carriage unit. If you see a hole in the circuit tape your done for.
