Microwave door removal

I need access to the door latch. How do I disassemle the door?

    When pressing door key, the door will not open...it seems the spring is broken on the door key. How can this be fixed? Thanks.

The latch is fixed without any screws...it is fitted with a sensor that makes sure that the microwawe stops wen the door is opened nd starts only if it is closed

You will need to remove microwave to access casing, remove casing and check door micro-switch. The switch activator will need adjusting to enable door interlock to activate.

Replace dor latch spring in Sharp Microwave R-1850A


Usually this can be done easily by removing the door unit and removing the panel to the door wherein you will be able to get access to the door lock. If there is no damage to the pivot or the post to hold the lock and spring , you can push the spring and reset.

Plastic latches on door have no tension. Microwave thinks door is open, because latch is not ingaging. How do I access the latch hardware.
