Hello, I see you are looking for authentication. Generally when you plug up your router you should have a default installation CD that you can use to set up any security through the installation wizard.

If you are talking about a specific router, if you comment on this I can assist you with steps on how to set up specific authentication.

Why is the link 192.168.0.1 not connecting me.

First, pull the power cord and reseat it to check if its not a temporary problem with the router.

You may need to set a static IP address on your computer to talk to your router in case someone has turned off DHCP. 192.168.0.2 would be a good choice, with 192.168.0.1 as the default gateway and see if you can ping the router on that IP address.

If you are using a wireless adapter, try using an ethernet cable if the above doesn't work.

If these steps don't work, the router may not be using that IP address.

Cant send

Hello,

Are you talking about sending email? A common problem is that all internet traffic works fine except for sending email, and this can be caused by a firewall either in the hardware(router) or on the client(computer).

Try disabling any firewalls you have on the router and client computer, or if you know how to navigate around the programs you need to allow email traffic.

I hope this helps giving the limited details provided :)

Regards,

I am getting spam attaching to old deleted emails and recent emails and sending spam messages out to friends from my yahoo account. Please givve me a phone number to talk to someone lieive. you can reach...

Do you use a yahoo client on your computer? If so, your computer is probably infected with a virus. The only reason that you would be sending spam from your email account is if someone hacked it, or if you are using a client program on your computer, and it is infected with a virus.

If you are using the web version of yahoo, please change your password immediately.

Otherwise, download the free version of malwarebytes at www.malwarebytes.org. Install and update the program, then run a scan. It will remove most viruses.

Hello Calebbbenhar

The reason why your seeing blocked is because the school network administrator has blocked everyone from getting on facebook while attached to the school wireless or wired network. Even if you tried to get on the internet from you cell phone using the schools signal, you would still be blocked. You can always ask the network administrator to make an exception from you.

Setup di524 - using va wireless internet connection

Hello again!

You're welcome to any help I can offer, and I fully understand the potential for confusion. To set up the router itself requires a computer, since this is the only way to 'talk' to the router....but to set up the wireless printer, only the manual can really help, since every one has differing setup requirements.

Concerning your second query, this needs someone with wider expertise than I have - you might wish to post again with this, or perhaps contact one of the top experts directly for faster results - eg 'ziraffa'. (see home page).
Good luck with solving this issue.
