Problem with Canon Digital Cameras

ImageMixer 3 SE software freeze on adding new files to library

I got the ImageMixer 3 SE software bundled with my Canon Vixia HF S10 camcorder.

When I am in the ''Library'' and click on ''File/Add Files...'' and select some ''.mts'' files, it says ''Adding files...'', goes to 100% and then just freezes. The whole ImageMixer interface is frozen solid. I have to kill it using Task Manager.

When I re-run the program, nothing shows up on screen, even after a reboot. The program is running in Task Manager, but nothing shows up.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, got the same results again...

I'm on Windows XP SP3 running on an Intel Pentium CPU E5200 @ 2.5GHz with 3 GB of RAM.

Any idea what is happening?
